Surprised you can get away with that as a married man. I just ran out to Safeway to purchase a surprisingly marked up bouquet of roses for my wife.
I used to fight it like crazy, but now I've hit the point where I kind of like seeing my wife get all dolled up and taking her out to dinner. If you have to work for a living - and can afford it - you might as well enjoy yourself while spending your money.

My wife hates Valentine's Day. We don't even exchange cards. It's great.
